Full Tour Itinerary
We bid goodbye to bustling Edinburgh and head for the Highlands.
Our journey will pass Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots and later impressive Stirling Castle. In the distance, the towering Wallace Monument can also be seen.
Our journey continues through Callander to the village of Tyndrum, where we will make a stop for refreshments.
The next part of our journey will start with a dramatic ascent of the Black Mount to reach the vastness of Rannoch Moor, one of the last true wildernesses left in Europe.
We’ll stop in haunting Glen Coe so you can capture the scene and hear the story of the infamous massacre.
Next, we travel to Fort William and see, if the weather is kind, the soaring peak of Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in Britain.
The Great Glen provides an ever-changing vista of lochs and mountains. Soon we’ll arrive in Fort Augustus, where we'll have the chance to explore the mysterious banks of Loch Ness.
There's the chance to take a 50-minute “monster-spotting” cruise across the deep and dark waters of the loch. During the sail, enjoy an engaging commentary from a crewmember and watch for unexplained happenings below on the state-of-the-art sonar system!
Our return journey will take us through Glen Spean, where we follow the banks of Loch Laggan past stately Ardverikie House. This grand house has starred in several films and TV series, including Mrs Brown, Outlander and The Crown.
The Cairngorms National Park is famed for its natural beauty, as we will discover as our journey continues towards Dalwhinnie then on through the Grampian Mountains.
We’ll make a final stop for refreshments in a wee village in Highland Perthshire, an area of tall trees and fast-flowing rivers.
The last part of our journey is through the Kingdom of Fife, then across the Forth Estuary, where there are fantastic views of the iconic Rail Bridge to enjoy.

We had a lovely tour guide who told us a lot about the history of the high lands while driving through, which was good fun. Overall the tour was quite nice, the boat trip was a little underwhelming, because there were so many tourists one the boat.

Nice tour but without too much time for any stops - "just in time" approach is required at very single moment of the tour.
