Hop aboard our small-group adventure from Edinburgh. Travel over the Firth of Forth and through the Kingdom of Fife to reach our first stop at Taste Perthshire, where you can enjoy local homemade treats, browse Scottish crafts, and meet the famous Highland Hairy Coos. Capturing a snap of these gentle, shaggy-haired icons of Scotland will make the perfect addition to your social feeds.
Leaving Perthshire behind, we begin our journey deep into the Scottish Highlands. After travelling through the Grampian Mountains, we reach the dramatic scenery of Cairngorms National Park, a region famous for its towering peaks and shimmering lochs.
Arriving in Fort Augustus, the gateway to Loch Ness, take a stroll along the banks of the Caledonian Canal to watch the cruise boats navigate the locks to enter Loch Ness. There’s time to enjoy an optional cruise across the loch’s deep, mysterious waters, famously home to Nessie, the legendary Loch Ness Monster.
Our journey heads south through the Great Glen to reach Ben Nevis, Britain’s tallest mountain and Fort William, which sits on the banks of Loch Linnhe.
Glen Coe is a place of striking beauty and historic significance, known for its dramatic scenery and the tragic massacre of the McDonald Clan in 1692. Next, travel over the Great Moor of Rannoch, then descend the Black Mount to enjoy views of Loch Tulla below.
Finally, head to Stirling, where we join the motorway for our return to Edinburgh, taking with you unforgettable memories of Scotland’s breathtaking scenery and rich history.
