Full Tour Itinerary
Our exciting day starts with a drive from the vibrant centre of Glasgow into the natural beauty of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. After touring along the "bonnie, bonnie banks", there will be a stop for refreshments and an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful views over Loch Lomond.
Continuing northwards, we travel through the expanse of Rannoch Moor. This landscape of peat bog and lochans extends over 50 square miles and is an area of special scientific interest. The moor has been used as a filming location for the Harry Potter movies.
The brooding beauty of Glen Coe is next. Your driver/guide will find the perfect spot so you can capture the scene of majestic mountains and tumbling waterfalls. In 1692, some 40 members of the MacDonald Clan were killed here one snowy night for not rejecting the Jacobite cause.
After leaving Glen Coe, our next destination is the world-famous Loch Ness. Renowned for its beauty and mystery, Loch Ness holds more water by volume than all the lakes and rivers in England and Wales combined.
At Loch Ness, we'll visit the charming village of Fort Augustus. Here, you can choose a cruise to hunt for the monster and enjoy stunning loch views, including Cherry Island and Fort Augustus Abbey.
If you prefer to stay on land, you can explore the village or walk along part of the 60-mile Caledonian Canal, connecting Inverness to Fort William. Afterwards, we will start our journey south.
The next part of our journey takes us through the Cairngorms National Park, where you'll be treated to the unique and spectacular wilderness of the Scottish Highlands. Home to a quarter of Scotland's native forests and five of the UK's six highest mountains, this park offers stunning landscapes perfect for relaxation and admiration.
Heading further south, we'll stop in the heart of Highland Perthshire. Here, you can purchase local produce and meet the friendly Highland cows.
On our way back to Glasgow, we'll pass the historic city of Stirling, catching glimpses of Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument.
Our tour concludes as we return to George Square in Glasgow, ending our memorable Highland adventure.

Scott was one of the best tour guides I have ever had. He had so much knowledge and made the trip so fun! His energy never wavered on the whole trip - even with a traffic diversion which meant he had an extra hour and a half of driving. He made it so much fun and really allowed us to learn a lot and see so many sites. We absolutely would book again as this tour was great on a small bus and it really showed a lot of beautiful Scotland!
