Tour itinerary
From Glasgow, we travel to the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, where we will drive the entire length of Loch Lomond. There will be a stop along the way so you can enjoy the panoramic views of the “bonnie, bonnie banks”.
After crossing the bleak wilderness of Rannoch Moor, we will descend into Glen Coe, where the mountain grandeur that surrounds us offers exciting scenery and history. Glen Coe is most famously known for the massacre of the resident MacDonald Clan by Campbell troops in 1692. The story that led to this infamous act will captivate you.
After time for photographs, our coach continues along the banks of Loch Linnhe to Fort William.
After a break for lunch, we’ll stop to admire Ben Nevis, Britain’s tallest mountain then travel through the remarkable scenery of The Great Glen.
Dark, deep and mysterious Loch Ness is bound to impress. It extends for 24 miles (38 km) and is up to 700 feet (212 m) deep. It’s most famous for its elusive resident - Nessie.
On this tour, you’ll have the option of enjoying a short sail on the loch, where you can mount your own Monster spotting adventure. Alternatively, you can relax in the attractive village of Fort Augustus, watching the pleasure boats navigate the locks of the Caledonian Canal.
After travelling through the Grampian Mountains, we’ll make a stop in the pleasant Victorian resort of Pitlochry.
The final part of our journey will take us to Perth, then past the golf resort of Gleneagles and, later, Stirling with its majestic castle. From here, it is a short drive back to Glasgow.
