Full Tour Itinerary
Leaving behind the cobbled charm of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile, we set off westward into Scotland’s storied heartland. Our first destination is the breathtaking Loch Lomond, the largest loch in the country and the southern gateway to the Highlands. Here, you’ll be greeted by shimmering waters, rugged hills, and sweeping vistas that have inspired poets and legends alike. Take a leisurely stroll along the bonnie banks or browse the boutiques and cafés of Loch Lomond Shores, nestled in the heart of Scotland’s first National Park—a landscape once roamed by the outlaw hero Rob Roy MacGregor.
Continuing through the wild beauty of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, often called “The Highlands in Miniature,” we arrive at Aberfoyle, a charming village perched on the Highland Boundary Fault. Enjoy lunch at a local eatery or explore its traditional shops and rich folklore.
Next, prepare to be awed by The Kelpies—two towering steel horse sculptures in Helix Park, Falkirk. These 30-metre giants celebrate Scotland’s industrial past and its mythical spirit, as your guide shares tales of the shape-shifting water horses from Celtic legend.
To conclude your adventure, we visit Blackness Bay Distillery, an artisanal haven of small-batch spirits. Sample their characterful whiskies and smooth rums before heading to Blackness Castle, a 15th-century fortress nicknamed “the ship that never sailed.” Overlooking the Firth of Forth, this cinematic stronghold has guarded royals and featured in Outlander.
As the sun sets, we return to Edinburgh with hearts full of history, scenery, and unforgettable stories of Scotland’s past and present.
