Leaving Edinburgh behind, we can look forward to a perfect blend of history, scenery, and whisky tradition.
The adventure begins with a glimpse of The Kelpies, two towering 30-metre sculptures honouring Scotland’s legendary water horses, before passing historic Stirling with its imposing castle and Wallace Monument dominating the skyline.
The first major stop is at Deanston Distillery, once a cotton mill and now a celebrated whisky producer. Here, a guided tour reveals the artistry of whisky-making, ending with a tasting of smooth single malts.
Guests can also stroll by the River Teith or relax in the cosy Coffee Bothy.
Nearby, the smaller Loch Achray provides a picture-perfect view beneath the peaks of Ben A’an and Ben Venue.
A highlight is meeting Scotland’s iconic “Hairy Coos,” the friendly Highland cattle.
On the return, there is a pause in South Queensferry to take in the sweeping views of the Forth Bridges, including the UNESCO-listed Forth Bridge. Our unforgettable day ends on our return to Edinburgh.
