Glasgow is one of Europeís great tourism centres with dozens of museums and galleries, outstanding architecture and sprawling parks. There is exciting shopping to be enjoyed along the "Style MileĒ and a wide range of eateries and bars to be savoured. Glasgow truly has something for everyone.

Day Two
Western Highlands Excursion
Our journey commences with a drive along the "bonnie, bonnie banksĒ of Loch Lomond, known as the Queen of all the Scottish lakes. Thereís a stop in the village of Luss, with itís pretty stone cottages and wonderful panoramic loch-side vistas.

The drive continues along the entire length of Loch Lomond then by way of Glen Lochy to romantic Kilchurn Castle, which stands guard at the head of Loch Awe. Oban is a picturesque fishing port situated on the Firth of Lorne. It is from here that the ferries set sail for the islands of the Inner and Outer Hebrides. Weíll have free time to discover this charming town for ourselves. Our next stop is Inveraray which is situated by the banks of Loch Fyne. Built by the Duke of Argyll this attractive retains much of its 18th Century charm.

During our descent of the "Rest and be ThankfulĒ mountain pass we'll see the original road, built by General Wade, winding its way up the through the glen. Soon we reach the Argyll Forest Park where icy streams cascade down through wooded glens. Shortly we will return to the gentle shores of Loch Lomond once more and then to Glasgow.

Day Three
Explore Glasgow
Continue your Glasgow sightseeing tour this morning. Why not take time out to visit the Riverside Museum, Glasgowís museum of transport and travel. Nearby is the Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery, Scotlandís number one free visitor attraction. Itís collection features an eclectic mix of natural history, armour and art from many movements plus much, much more.

On a smaller scale The Tenement House provides a fascinating insight into how life was lived during the early part of the 20th Century.
If you would like to see the city from a different perspective you can enjoy a cruise along the River Clyde. As well as modern architecture to savour there are plenty of examples of Glasgowís long tradition of engineering and shipbuilding to discover.
