Highland Games Experience
One day tour

Highland Games are held throughout Scotland and are a lively celebration of Scottish culture. During your visit see historic sports, piping and traditional highland dancing. The climax of each games is the unforgettable sound of the Massed Pipes and Drums!

What will I experience on this Signature Day Tour?
Travelling on a Signature one-day tour from Edinburgh is a great way to discover more of Scotland. During your journey we’ll introduce to many aspects of our country: spectacular scenery, history, folklore, nature and much, much more. As with all our tours this excursion has been carefully designed to entertain and inform you.

The main focus of the day will be attending the Highland Games and you should spend at least 4 hours at the event. Your tour will be led by an experienced driver/guide who will provide a live commentary in English.

Highland Games take place in towns and villages throughout Scotland. On this tour we will visit the following events:

Can children travel this tour?

Children aged 5 years and older are welcome to travel on this tour. Childrenaged 5 to 16 inclusive travel at the appropriate child rate. We are sorry butchildren below the age of 5 cannot travel on this tour.
How many people will be in the group?
The group size is normally between 29 and 33 passengers. At times of peak demand (such as on public holidays) larger coaches may be used.
What features will the coach have?
You will usually travel in a modern eco-friendly mini or midi touring coach which is equipped with air-conditioning, comfortable reclining seats, large picture windows and seat belts.
Will there be stops for meals and are they included in the price of the tour?
Meals are not included in the tour price, but we will make stops where you can get refreshments and something to eat. There will be a wide range of catering available at the Games site as well as local restaurants and pubs close by where you can get food and refreshments at lunch time. Vegetarian food is widely available. 
Do you offer a hotel pick-up service?
We know that you will want to start your tour straight away rather than spending valuable time travelling around hotels. By offering a single centrally located departure point we can get you to Scotland’s best scenery as quickly as possible.
Can I reserve specific seats on the coach?
Seating on this tour is on a first come, first served basis and cannot be pre-booked. If you are travelling as part of a group please make sure that all members of the party arrive at the departure point together.
