Full Tour Itinerary
Departing from Edinburgh we travel northwards to Stirling where our first visit of the day is to the impressive Wallace Monument. This Victorian tribute is to Sir William Wallace, Scotland’s great freedom fighter and the real "Braveheart”! The monument contains various exhibits, including his mighty 1.7 metre two-handed sword. If you are feeling fit why not climb to the viewing gallery for wonderful views towards Stirling Castle, the River Forth and the City of Stirling below.
Next we travel through Strathallan to reach Auchterarder, the location of the famous Gleneagles Hotel and Golf Resort. This was the venue of the 2014 Ryder Cup and there is a photo-opportunity to capture where the international golfing legends played.
The attractive spa town of Crieff sits in the foothills of the Grampian Mountains and is home to The Glenturret Malt Whisky Distillery, the home of the Famous Grouse. After a tour of the distillery there's an opportunity for a tasting and visit to the shop, a must for any whisky connoisseur! There are a number of trails if you’d like to enjoy a walk in the extensive distillery grounds. There will be time for lunch in the distillery’s popular restaurant.
After our visit we travel through the scenic “Sma Glen” to reach The Hermitage, where there is an opportunity to take a woodland walk along the banks of the River Braan to see the roaring Black Linn waterfall and Ossian’s Hall. Our last stop will be in the pleasant village of Dunkeld where you can visit ancient Dunkeld Cathedral situated by the banks of the River Tay.
After a relaxing stop we bid farewell to Perthshire and make our way back to Edinburgh through the ancient Kingdom of Fife.

The tour guide/driver was very informative and courteous. I do have a request though, please request the driver to announce to the group not to change their seatts once taken. This disrupts everyone.SALIL from BOLTON,

My brother and I had a fantastic time. The drivers were very knowledgeable. In particular one of the Drivers(Graham )was particularly Brilliant and second to non. The only problem I have with the transport is that the buses have lap belts and not a combination of lap and shoulder seat belts to support one in the event of an accident (which God forbid never happens).Ulasini from Birmingham, United Kingdom
