Your exciting day of discovery starts when you board your luxury coach in Inverness City Centre. Soon the hustle and bustle of the city is left behind and you are touring along the banks of famous Loch Ness. Enjoy the wonderful views as you are introduced to the fascinating history of the loch by your local driver/guide.

Loch Ness is the largest Scottish loch by volume, indeed experts say that it contains more freshwater than all the lakes of England and Wales combined! Find out more about the loch and its most famous resident when we stop to visit the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre in the pleasant village of Drumnadrochit.

Next we enjoy a further scenic drive along the banks of the loch to reach Invermoriston. Here we can enjoy a short walk to see the delightful ruined bridge which was designed by Thomas Telford, who constructed the
Caledonian Canal.

Urquhart Castle is a magnificent castle that dates from the 14thCentury and was one of a chain of garrisons that controlled the Great Glen. Nowadays its a popular place with "Nessie spotters who scan the waters of the loch that are deeper here than the North Sea! Well have a relaxed visit to Urquhart Castle where there is plenty time for you to enjoy the fascinating audio-visual presentation and explore the castle for yourself.

After your castle visit join your cruise boat at Urquhart Castle for an enjoyable 90 minute cruise of Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal. With breathtaking vistas at every turn this is a real highlight. Keep a close watch and have your camera ready. Just in case!

These enjoyable tours are a combination of luxury touring by coach and a relaxing cruise on the mysterious waters of Loch Ness. Youll depart from the centre of Inverness by comfortable midi- coach with a local driver/guide providing a full commentary in English. Later in the tour youll board a cruise boat for a monster-spotting cruise on Loch Ness!
All Cruise/coach tours include a visit to Urquhart Castle which stands guard overlooking the dark waters of Loch Ness. Once one of Scotlands mightiest strongholds, Urquharts strategic location gave it a key role in the Scottish battle for independence. Youll have access to the visitor centre which includes a fascinating display of artefacts and audio-visual presentation that tells the story of the castles history.  All cruise boats feature seating inside and out, heated saloons, refreshment bars, toilets and free wifi. A popular feature is the sonar display keep a careful watch and you could be first to spot Nessie!

Children of all ages are welcome to travel on this cruise/coach tour. Special child prices are available for children aged up to 16 years of age.
How many people will be in the group?
The group size is normally around 33 passengers. At times of peak demand (such as on public holidays) larger coaches may be used.

You will usually travel in a modern eco-friendly midi touring coach which is equipped with air-conditioning, comfortable reclining seats, large picture windows and seat belts.    
Will there be stops for meals and are they included in the price of the tour?
Meals are not included in the tour price, but we will make stops where you can get refreshments and something to eat. If you wish, you can bring a packed lunch or pick up lunch items at a previous stop. Vegetarian food is widely available.  
What should I wear?
Wear layers as the temperature on the loch can vary. We recommend bringing a rain jacket, just in case!
Will there be a tour commentary?
An experienced driver/guide will host the coach tour portion of the tour. They will provide an informative and entertaining commentary in English. Youll hear tales of the Clans, bloody battles and the famous characters that have shaped the history of Scotland. You will learn too of the landscape that surrounds you and of the nature that makes Scotland so special.
On the cruise portion of the tour a crew member will provide a full commentary on the history and nature of Loch Ness including Nessie, of course!  Ive missed my tour because I was late, can I get a refund?Were sorry but refunds or credits wont be issued if you miss your tour because you are not at the departure point on time. In fairness to all our passengers coaches will not wait if you are late.
