We will make a photo stop in haunting Glen Coe before making our way through Fort William and into the Great Glen. The highlight of our day together is undoubtedly a drive along the entire length of Loch Ness. There is a stop at Urquhart Castle were you can take a tour and a short cruise on the loch (optional). It’s a short drive to Inverness, where we will spend the night.

Day Two
The Isle of Skye
After breakfast we travel a short distance along the banks of Loch Ness to Invermoriston where there is a short stop to view the romantic Telford bridge. Our journey westwards takes us through Glen Shiel, where the Five Sisters of Kintail will come into view – can you tell which of these mountains are over 3,000 feet? To Loch Duich and fairytale Eilean Donan Castle set on its little island. There is time to explore this iconic castle before we travel over the sea to Skye! There are grand views of the mighty Cuillin Hills on our way to the little village of Elgol. The return journey to Inverness is by way of picturesque Glen Carron and the Black Isle. After a short comfort stop in Inverness board the train for your scenic rail journey to either Edinburgh or Glasgow*.
