Our extended stop in Stirling will allow a leisurely visit to the Castle. Alternatively you can choose to explore The Wallace Monument* which stands on Abbey Craig and offers panoramic views over the City.

The village of Doune is home to its eponymous 14th Century Castle* which has had starring roles in many TV programmes and movies including Game of Thrones, Outlander and Monty Python and the Holy Grail, to name but three! Theres time to visit the Castle or you can take time out to visit nearby Deanston Malt Whisky Distillery* where, as well as having a behind the scenes tour to learn all about the distillers art, there will be a chance to taste the end product too!

The Loch Lomond and TrossachsNational Park is a wonderful area of lochs and wild mountain vistas. This is Rob Roy MacGregor country and there will be many tales to be told about this loveable rogue as we make our way from the Lowlands into the Highlands!
